On Saturday, August 8th, from 7:00-9:00pm, I will be hosting my very first art driven event at 601 Fleming Street inspired by the nostalgic memories of still life drawing class while attending Columbus College of Art & Design a Joining me is Taylor Mauldin, a master behind the art form of tea, who will be serving two specialty brewed teas while sharing her well studied knowledge about them.
There will be three different staged still life’s and they will all be inspired by tea and the natural beauty of household items. Wherever you choose to sit, you will draw what you see from your angle in the still life. I will be there to encourage, help, and embrace your creative mind. Tea will be served throughout the event and all art supplies are included.
This is a self guided event where all experience levels are highly encouraged and welcomed. This event is meant to embrace creativity, peacefulness, and to allow the mind to freely flow onto paper. Art is art.
