For your first light, allow your candle to burn for 2 hours so it is able to create an even burn pool.
Always clip your wick to 1/4" before each lighting. If you do this before each light, you will get 40+ hours of burn time. Also steer away from letting your candle burn for longer than 2 hours.
If you are a Key West local, I offer refills that are half the price of the original candle and you can drop your refill off at my boutique and I will contact you when it's ready for pick up!
